What is it with people saying so much things about their faith and their God and yet at a birthday party for a 3 year old who doesn't have her parents no one has even a slight intention of suggesting to pray for her 3rd year of life.
I didn't expect that.
for me that's the whole point of birthdays. nothing else really matters because the candles get blown out and the cake gets eaten or thrown away.
there was no prayer yesterday for Shula, just a vain awkward time with frozen (or is it lukewarm?) tired people who came sat down and left.
in the end what difference is there between people with no God and us (the oh so supernatural)? the only difference is that we don't have vodka, wine and rum on the table. Other than that...I don't see much of a difference with this vain 'believer' but really unbelieving lifestyle.

And so I'm disappointed, first of with myself and than with all the other people who claim with their mouths things they don't practice things they don't do.
Truly in love people with Jesus wouldn't care for many things they care about now.
